Shammrie Brown is a passionate servant-leader, family man, and writer who is dedicated to helping others. Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Shammrie Brown earned an Associates Degree in Human Services from Lansing Community College, Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Aurora University, and a Master of Arts in Urban Leadership at Northern Seminary.
He writes devotions for YouVersion Bible App as a Content Partner, and authored a children’s book entitled “God is a Girldad.” He lives with his beautiful and brilliant wife, precious daughter and playful dog. Shammrie considers it a mere gift to serve the Lord and His people.
